A Life Rooted in Family and Tradition
Paul was born to Helen and Paul Prosser Sr. in Galion, where he was raised in a close-knit family. From a young age, Paul developed a passion for the outdoors and followed in his father’s footsteps to become a second-generation tree surgeon. That passion blossomed into a meaningful career, and Paul eventually co-founded a local tree care business, Prosser Tree, where he worked until the time of his passing.
At the time of his death, he was also employed by Pen Line, continuing his commitment to providing expert tree care services across Ohio.
Survived by a Loving Family
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Koni Prosser, and their children:
- Paul (Brandi) Prosser
- Josh (Mindi) Prosser
- Chelsea Prosser
- Mindi (Zack) Prosser
- Ryan (Echo) Prosser
He was a proud grandfather to Lani, Brexson, Landin, Kylie, Damri, Destiny, Hayden, Jayas, Lucas, Gunner, Silas, and Zen—each of whom brought him immense joy.

A Man of Simplicity, Strength, and Joy
Known for his generous heart, easygoing nature, and infectious laughter, Paul was a man who found joy in simple pleasures—especially in fishing, time spent near the water, and meals shared with loved ones. His family recalls how he lit up around his grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and life lessons.
Paul loved being surrounded by nature and often said that working among trees brought him peace. His dedication to his family and his work defined who he was—kind, humble, and quietly impactful.
In Loving Memory
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Prosser, his grandfather Bill “Pappy”, his brother Steve, and his nephew John Wilcox. Their reunion brings comfort to the family, who take solace in the belief that Paul is now at peace.

A private celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 5:00 PM for family and close friends at the family property:
