Vivek Ramaswamy and Benny Johnson Donate Generously

Vivek Ramaswamy, Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate, donated $5,000 to Holly’s recovery fund. He confirmed speaking with her personally on X. Political commentator Benny Johnson, who launched the campaign, also donated $5,000, making them the joint top contributors.

“Let’s show Holly that she’s not forgotten—and that she’s not alone,” reads the campaign page.

Details of the Attack and Holly’s Condition

The incident, captured in widely-shared videos, shows a mob violently attacking Holly and another individual in downtown Cincinnati. Holly, described as a single working-class mother, is reportedly suffering from:

  • Severe concussion and brain trauma
  • Hemorrhaging
  • Loss of work
  • Ongoing threats, forcing her into hiding

“No police were present and no ambulance arrived to help,” the campaign claims. Holly had to reach the hospital on her own.

Holly’s First Statement Since the Attack

In a video message shared by Johnson, Holly said:

“I still have a very bad brain trauma. God bless you all. Thank you.”

She added that the public support has restored her faith in humanity.
