Atlanta, Georgia – The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) reported a temporary shutdown of GA-400 southbound Friday morning due to a vehicle fire near Lenox Road/Buckhead Loop (Exit 2). The closure began around 8:00 a.m., as emergency responders quickly managed the situation.

By 8:30 a.m., all lanes were reopened after the fire was successfully extinguished. GDOT officials confirmed the vehicle fire occurred on the right shoulder, prompting a temporary halt in traffic.
