The Incident
On June 7, 2025, at 1:42 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired at an apartment on the 100 block of Jessup Street. Upon arrival, officers found Xavien Tylee Booker shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate the shooting was connected to a domestic assault at the apartment.
Previous Arrests
Sejmarian Stiller, 28, of Salisbury, was initially arrested on July 7, 2025, for felony murder after the fact of first-degree murder and later released on a $50,000 bond. Stiller was re-arrested on October 3, 2025, facing first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree burglary, six counts of kidnapping, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Tomanch Jackson, 27, also from Salisbury, was arrested the same day and charged with the same crimes. Both Stiller and Jackson are being held without bond, with their court appearance scheduled for October 6, 2025.
Third Suspect: Tariq Mosley
The latest arrest involves Tariq Mosley, 28, of Greensboro. Already in custody in Guilford County for unrelated charges, Mosley had warrants issued for murder, burglary, and kidnapping. He is now facing first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree burglary, six counts of kidnapping, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Mosley is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on November 13, 2025.
