“Tell Schumer… to GO TO HELL!” Trump wrote, calling the demand “egregious and unprecedented.”

Deal Collapses Amid Budget Standoff
According to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, efforts to bundle nominee votes into two rounds fell apart after Democrats tied approvals to restoring funding for foreign aid and the National Institutes of Health — funds that the Trump administration had frozen.
Schumer responded by celebrating the breakdown of the deal, accusing Trump of trying to “steamroll the Senate” with unqualified nominees.
